One of my hobbies is eating. The reason I get away with this is because my other hobbies involve running, cycling, snowboarding, etc.
Another one of my hobbies is not paying for things. Not like stealing, but taking advantage of opportunities, and there is a lot. So many that I have a separate calendar just to organize all the free & cheap things I could be doing!
The running room has run club twice a week, on sunday & Wednesday. It’s free and open to all levels. If you pay attention to when the clinics start you’ll know sort of what the different groups will be running. You can pretty much follow a whole clinic from learn to run to the marathon without paying a thing (but you’ll have to do more of your runs alone).
Did you know that all lululemon stores offer free yoga & other activities a few times a week? Lululemon in Ottawa has a run club twice a week, yoga on Sunday & wednesday mornings and on the hill during the summer on weds. Check out their website or my google calendar.
Most yoga studios have a charity yoga class once a week where you can go for much cheaper, for a 5$ donation or even just for donating something to the food bank! Check out the website of your favorite studio or my calendar. If your studio doesn’t have one, why don’t you suggest it?
Some yoga studios allow you to pay for your pass by manning the front desk for a few hours a week.
check out the calendar! There is everything from running to cycling to canoeing. Get outside! And if you have anything to add let me know!
